Congratulations to John Harris, the new Moth 2008 World Champion. The Moth Worlds took place in nice English summer weather, 15 deg Celsius and 20 to 30 knots of wind… Only 2 days of hard fought racing could be squeezed out in very bad weather.More then half of the Moth fleet at the 2008 worlds in Weymouth used EasyRigging PBO rigging.
Improvements for this season are/ will be:
- The new Ultra stays have a braided cover and are much more durable then last years version
- Stays will be delivered with a Ronstan RF 635 D shackle, which will fit most masts.
- Bottom eye of the forestay will be one size larger for easier fitting of the lashing
- A conversion table to measure the correct rig tension with a standard Loose gauge, will be available on short time notice.
