A 40 Ft. IMS racer rig

This IMS racer has a 3 spreader rig and a Selden mast with dyform rigging. The total rig is replaced through an EasyRigging PBO integrated continuous rig and the total weight saving is 17,5 kg. on a total dyform weight of 22,5 kg. In total this is a weight saving of approximately 77%!!

The diameter is only grown with 8%, with 10% less stretch then dyform. Also the dyneema back stay, runners and check stays are replaced by EasyRigging PBO cables. These cables have up to 60 almost 70% less stretch, and a 25% smaller diameter then dyneema.

All the hardware is custom made for these lightweight rigging systems. The 40ft yacht will have the maximum benefit from this new rig in the coming races. We wish the owner lots of success with racing this new rig.
